Led a successful “lead to cash” digital transformation with over 450 people in 8 different time zones and 12 system integrators. The budget was 1.3x the annual IT budget and included 41 systems, e.g. new CRM, CPQ, Licensing, Billing, Revenue, Tax, and Planning. Transformed the cybersecurity function to be industry-leading as measured by security frameworks. Hired first CISO and hired to plan globally while maintaining attrition at 8%. Manage the mission-critical infrastructure to ensure 99.99% availability for all security products globally, including Sophos Cloud, and distribute 5PB of virus updates to customers monthly. Rebuilt the leadership core and established the vision for world-class IT and leadership. The team is in the top quartile of all IT organizations based on Gartner metrics. Successfully relocated 80% of the applications team to a higher-performing, low-cost geography within a 6-month timeframe with no material delivery disruption. Defined the architectural blueprints and principles the team will follow to ensure Sophos infrastructure and applications will securely scale with high velocity.

Responsible for leading the global IT function to enable the hyper-growth of GoPro. First priority was to rebuild an underfunded and understaffed organization. Re-aligned the IT organization to support the agile and varying needs of a consumer device business, a subscription software business and an entertainment business. Each business has unique go to market needs, distribution models and revenue streams. Instituted IT Governance to focus resources on the highest priorities along with a project management methodology to ensure predictable delivery, while concurrently implementing an agile development process to improve the velocity and quality of delivery. Now all functions are run with a rolling 12-month product roadmap built collaborative with IT and its counterparts. Recruited GoPro’s first CISO and instituted the cyber program. Program is now has an operating committee, executive steering committee and is featured at the Audit Committee. Grew staff by 53% in first 12 months, helped by a strong personal brand in industry. To ensure cultural consistency and continuity, implemented a leadership development program. Built offshore capability in Manila, Philippines. We are now able to recruit strong talent who will support US hours at 18% the cost of Silicon Valley.

Responsibilities include marketing demand creation, direct response, pre-sales, OEM, alliances, post-sales, customer success, renewals and connector engineering. Chartered to scale the organization for high growth and high volume through multiple sales organizations and channels, while ensuring Informatica’s license revenue maintains its growth trajectory. Achieved subscription revenues of $69.7M in FY'14 and $46.7M in FY'13. Improved on all metrics year-over-year. Grew ARR by 95%, grew ASP by 35%, achieved an upsell rate double the industry average, achieved a renewal rate of 92% and reduced CAC by 7 points. Built the strategy to accelerate the growth of Informatica’s subscription business as well as improving our position relative to competitors. Strategy included expanding system integrator relationships, accelerating our customer acquisition through M&A and becoming the preferred integration partner for cloud vendors. Built business development function to execute a seed and grow strategy with cloud vendors. This includes providing free access to data loaders as well as try-and-buy products.

Established a benchmarking and metrics program to assess and measure shareholder value, customer satisfaction and the appropriate resource investment. Program results indicate high shareholder returns and customer satisfaction with lower than average investments. Successfully integrated the applications and infrastructure of 14 acquisitions over the past 27 quarters, each in a three-month timeframe. Matured all IT functions through appropriate frameworks such as ITIL, CMMI and TOGAF. Received the highest employee satisfaction ratings within the Finance and Administration organization through a strong emphasis on leadership development and establishing an organization culture based on core values.

Built the financial model and plans for accelerating growth within the region. Provided oversight on the regions execution to ensure achievement of newly established, aggressive targets. Defined the regional distributor strategy which included rebuilding our pipeline management approach. Distributors will contribute a significant portion of revenue by managing small transactions as well servicing mid-sized accounts, thereby giving Informatica sales team’s even greater leverage.
