Providing professional support services and multilingual, eclectic Individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to clients of various developmental stages, I work with clients from multicultural backgrounds, making various tools and program resources available to promote the mental well-being of individual clients and families. Highlights of my experience in this role include… ■ Proactively complete all assigned tasks, projects, and cases, in addition to obtaining EMDR specialization.; one of the few therapists specialized to cover this type of counseling. ■ Respond to clients suffering from various conditions including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relational, self-image, and multicultural issues.

Rendering psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management for adults transitioning into community-based treatment from a forensic setting, I developed clients’ behavioral support plans and programs while maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and facility specific policies and procedures. In this role, I liaised between clients and medical providers, presenting timely qualitative and quantitative data to key decision makers to secure appropriate actions, and performed risk intervention on a 24-7 basis (on-call and in-person). Highlights of my experience in this role include… ■ Completed suicide risk assessments as necessary, developing safety and individualized treatment plans utilizing appropriate modalities; maintained quality clinical documentation. ■ Facilitated evidence-based interventions based on clinical mental health diagnosis and best practices; engaged families and provided supportive counseling and crisis intervention.

Administering vital services in the form of counseling, case management, mediation, and psychoeducational support, I served as an integral member of the program, strengthening counseling and case management, as well as crisis intervention, and emergency mental health services for mentally handicapped clients. In this role, I simultaneously ensured the safety of more than twelve clients within the community residence, as well as coinciding apartment treatment program, and supported housing. Highlights of my experience in this role include… ■ Developed plans and initiated programs to support residents; followed up with residents consistently to ensure completion of tasks and provide support. ■ Managed and maintained a safe and secure environment for residents and staff, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and facility-specific policies and procedures. ■ Monitored resident behavior, identifying potential crises to create resolutions and address problems quickly and effectively.
