In 2019, I founded IN-NATURE with the mission of developing and promoting energy-saving products for transparent facades such as building windows and greenhouse envelopes, initially focusing on the production of ITO films required for these applications. I devised technology that adds heating and blind functions to customers’ electrochromic PDLC, SPD, and EC film products, which was recognized with an International Invention Award in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, with the Muldori-Wall solution for greenhouses, I received the CES 2025 Innovation Award and am now driving the scale-up of this technology. I hold a Level 1 National Engineer Certificate in Metallurgical Materials and have been developing and manufacturing transparent conductive ITO films and glass since 1995. I earned a Ph.D. specializing in ITO films for OLED applications. During my 15 years at Hanwha, I served as Production Team Leader, overseeing the manufacturing of ITO films and high-barrier films for QDTV. Since 2017, I have led a government-funded project under the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP), developing energy-saving smart windows by integrating electrochromic films into glazing systems.

As the director of the research center at Sungmoon Electronics, I have been involved in the development and production process of metal-deposited films for electric vehicle capacitors, the development of moisture barrier coatings, and the advancement of energy-saving electrochromic films for smart window applications.
