Working as a Business Development Manager at first in the North East, the North including North West, then Nationally based from home, office and also field based. I secured new accounts within mortgage firms and networks and managed existing Key Accounts. This role was a target driven role which also required me to develop and present training material and computer software to advisers.

Providing advice to clients mainly in mortgages, life cover, CIC and general insurances I worked on a self-employed basis working with existing clients and new customers.

As an Account Manager with heavy focus on IFA and mortgage broker distribution, this role required me to secure new and repeat business via training and presenting product solutions to advisers. Also dealing with compliance teams and company directors at senior level.

As a Business Development Manager in the North East I was required to sell financial products to advisers specialising in the Buy to Let markets dealing mainly with portfolio business. Developed relationships with Key Accounts and drove new business forward in and around the North East within the IFA and mortgage broker markets.

Office and site based when required Planner using Primavera P6 for various tenders and projects predominantly in the Nuclear sector. I have worked on site at various EDF sites including Hunterston B and Hinkley Point B on outages as a Grade 3 Operative for "in vessel" works and now as a Planner for Vessel Entry campaigns. 2013 will be my first Liner Replacement Outage at Heysham 2.

Office based and sometimes covering 5 branches I worked as a mortgage adviser in Bradford & Bingley s estate agency division. I sold mortgages and protection to the branch customers and trained the non financial services staff how convert their EA customers into my FS appointments.

I qualified in CeMAP and learned how to source and research the mortgage market. I also learned how to liaise with solicitors/conveyancers, surveyors and lenders. I spent 2 years at the Mortgage Point during which time I gained enough experience to train new staff and progressed to senior sales consultant before being offered a management position. MP were tied agents to Friends Provident at the time and I maintained a good spread of business over life, critical illness, PHI and ASU.
