Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues for high speed inkjet web press. Conduct research and analysis to recommend actions for internal technical staff. Provide technical support to internal and external customers. Accomplishments: Developed a stochastic model of the HP high-speed press. Conducted modeling analysis used to specify terms of legal contracts with customers with respect to reliability, productivity, and costs. Served as lead enginer responsible for final quality of publishing customer’s books. Resolved performance issues at customer sites, trained client’s press operators. Collaborated with engineers in other disciplies to resolve issues.

Responsibilities: Developed, coded in R a system reliability model. Served as technical consultant to internal engineers: Design experiments, collect data using SQL, conduct statistical analysis with R, prepare and report results to staff. Accomplishments: Lead engineer for project to design and build a stochastic model of consumer printer usage. Utilized the R programming language to simulate reliability and warranty costs. Advised other engineering teams on best statistical methods to design and analyze reliability tests. These tests included accelerated life tests, degradation tests and frequently involved analyzing censored time series data from non-normal distributions.

Responsibilities: Responsible engineer for several process machines in a high volume manufacturing area. Managed a team of technicians and operators to ensure quotas were met while maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency. Accomplishments: Increased output of Thermally Attached Bonding machines by 15%. Improved the training and documentation used by the operators. Created statistical process control charts to monitor quality. Conducted gauge calibration and repeatability assessments to ensure process stability. Communicated quality and throughput metrics to other engineers and managers on a weekly basis. Mentored and trained operators and technicians.
