I’m Tony Faulkner, co-founder and Managing Director of VSI Executive Education. Most people know me for my 20+ years of experience in driving elite performance within the sporting arena. But my expertise and vision extend way further. My mission is to enable the shining stars of tomorrow progress into strategic leadership positions within the world of sport. As a lifelong learner, my personal development has never stopped with qualifications in: -Psychology -Neuroscience - Sports Law. As well as expanding my capabilities, it has given me the flexibility to apply myself in wide-ranging environments including Football, Academia, Business and Entrepreneurship. I am also learning Spanish which has enabled me to work with colleagues in football clubs in Spanish speaking countries. Co-founder of VSI Executive Education I’ve combined my passion for learning and expertise in sport to Co-found VSI Executive Education which has pioneered the worlds first: - MSc in Sports Directorship Course (2013 - present) - MBA for CEO’s of a Sports Organisation course (2016 - present) The VSI alumni is now 1600 strong as of 2025 working in senior roles with world-leading football clubs, national governing bodies as well as olympic sports. Based on the sucsess of the VSI brand in 2020 VSI were part aquired by an education company in sport. Being someone who is solution focused, my aim was to design courses that focus on a practical, not theoretical approach to learning. By doing so, the aim is to maximise human endeavour. The success of VSI has been recognised and supported by sports clubs and governing bodies around the globe as they look to succession plan and develop their staff through the VSI courses. I now advise clubs and ownership groups on their senior leadership recruitment. In 2026 VSI agreed a ground breaking relationship with the United Nations for the UN accredited Executive Diploma programme. Those who know me well know how much value I place on integrity. I live and breathe it. My network can count on me to deliver on my commitments. My motto is 'I do what I say'. And my commitment to you is simple.
