Responsibilities include but are not limited to Leading the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, including guest service standards, equipment and room pms, tracking repair trends, work schedules, life safety equipment and monitoring guest satisfaction scores. Develop systems and procedures that ensure the health and safety of Guests and staff as well as maintaining the property. Maintain budgets for Repairs as well as sending out bid packets for approved contractors, selecting the contractor then oversee the contractors work. Perform daily checks around the hotel, diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotel. Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers and vendors. Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expense as well as go green. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the Engineering Department and take corrective action, as required, to improve equipment inventory, quality audit, productivity, and other objectives. Manage all Team Member related activities, including recruitment, performance management, training, disciplinary matters, team motivation and helping with career advancement.

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating work with other professionals, such as engineers, architects, and all trades in order make sure the construction project stays on track. Handle supervisory details related to timing, budgeting, and other building processes. Establishing and evaluating construction schedules, estimating project costs, preparing contracts, obtaining required permits, and coordinating site safety. Responsibilities for selecting a construction team and in charge of hiring all foremen, construction crew, and subcontractors - and managing personnel once hired.

Oversee 55+ employees and handle day to day maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance for all builings on property. As well as following up with guest issues and implementing recovery.

Hands on chief for a 30 year old property. Trying to keep the property up to B/W standards as well as keeping all the rooms and equipment functioning 365 days a year
