In this role Tonko was responsible for the availability and continuity of acceptance and production environments within DICTU. His most important tasks were monitoring and administrating of Oracle middleware and databases, assign authorizations, implement changes, solve incidents, and change passwords according to internal standards. He used the following techniques: Oracle 11g/12c, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c/13c, RMAN, BMC TrueSight Operations Management, TOPdesk.

Juicer is an Atos application for processing staff requests. I executed a Compliance Assessment Data Protection (CADP) for Juicer because of GDPR regulations. I did set up a brand-new environment for this Oracle Apex application and migrated the old environment on Windows to this new environment on Linux.

Improving Crystal Reports performance on Oracle 12c database.

The database administration for the Shop Floor Control - Production Order Management application is done by an external party. I checked many aspects of database administration, database tuning and application tuning. Gave also advice about archiving of data to an Operational Data Store and helped with the execution of this archiving. Prepared actions to let this archiving improve the application performance.

For the department FM ICT he replaced a colleague who administered about 20 databases for one day a week. He improved a DOS command backup script to store multiple backups in a flexible way, upgraded a database from Oracle 8i to 11g and fixed PL/ SQL errors caused by a wrong character in a database domain name.

Administration of Oracle databases and conversion of Oracle 9i databases on Windows 2003 to Oracle 11g or MS SQL Server 2012 on Windows 2008 R2. Keep Oracle License costs as low as possible.
