Key Responsibilities: Education & Training Develop and deliver educational lectures and presentations related to vascular access, infusion therapy, and device utilization Provide hands-on clinical training and procedural support for healthcare professionals, including nurses, advanced practice providers, and physicians Customize educational content to meet institutional, regulatory, and product-specific needs Support competency validation and skills development initiatives Clinical Expertise & Consultation Serve as a subject matter expert in vascular access practices, technologies, and evidence-based standards Provide consultative guidance on clinical protocols, workflows, and best practices Support the implementation of new devices or techniques in clinical environments Product Development & Research Participate in new product development initiatives, including clinical feedback, usability testing, and workflow evaluation Collaborate on research activities, clinical studies, and post-market evaluations Contribute to the development of educational materials, white papers, abstracts, or manuscripts as appropriate Professional Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical education, research, regulatory, and industry partners Represent the organization or project in professional settings, conferences, and educational forums as needed

Conducting health risk assessments to support value-based care. As a nurse practitioner (NP), the focus is on preventive care, improving clinical documentation, and identifying patient needs that are often missed during standard office visits. Patient evaluation is performed with an in-depth assessment of patients with Medicare Advantage. Information is gathered, including a full patient history, physical, mental, and social factors that may impact their health. This provides a more holistic view of the patient's well-being beyond what is covered in typical office visits. The NP determines diagnoses and provides written documentation of the patient visit, often adhering to industry standards like those from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). This ensures proper medical coding and compliance.

Perform procedures in hospital and assess and treat acute care patients’ in their home

As a Vascular Specialist, it is an honor to represent all patients and clinicians as presidential advisor of the Association for Vascular Access.

Vascular consultant for all inpatient. Assist in providing the proper and safest vascular access for each patient. Consult on any complications, and POC. Follow up on all placed vascular lines, making sure patient and staff have no questions, while addressing any concerns.
