Working in the financial industry since 1986. Started as a foreign exchange dealer for Deutsche Bank Amsterdam (at that time named H. Albert de Bary & Co.) and later on for Lloyds TSB Bank Amsterdam. After my period at Lloyds I worked for several years at Indoverbank Amsterdam where I switched from foreign exchange dealer to assistant portfolio manager fixed income. I worked for Reuters as a broker responsible for turn over on their FX-trading systems. After a few years I went back to the banking business and made the switch from an interbanking environment to private banking. Prior to my current job as senior business development manager funds, I worked as a senior private banker at Insinger de Beaufort N.V. in Amsterdam and GE Artesia Bank in The Hague.
