In 2010, I founded the Harrison Rush Group. Lehman had collapsed, and Bear Stearns was sold to JPMorgan. I had also just adopted my youngest child from Vietnam. The world was quite chaotic, but there were numerous opportunities. Seven years earlier, I worked in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Both 9/11 and the 2008 collapse taught me not to take things for granted. They also taught me that my relationships are what I cherish most. I started the firm not to conquer the world, but to have the freedom to be my boss and to spend time with my new baby and family. It was the best professional decision I ever made. I have been focused on Investment Banking/PE and Corporate Development recruiting since 2007. I am also an ordained Interfaith Minister. Interfaith Ministers are trained in world religions and inter-spirituality, and we help people identify their own spiritual beliefs through a process of spiritual self-discovery. I spend my free time as a hospice volunteer and musician. I am a musician and lead weekly music therapy groups with patients suffering from all forms of Alzheimer's and Dementia. I play guitar, bass, and Ukulele in multiple bands.
