Full-cycle recruiting for Software Engineering and Quality Engineering, industry and new grad hiring.

Full-cycle recruiting for intern/co-op and new college graduate hiring, for the Software Engineering division. Responsible for building strategic partnerships with key universities by hosting on-campus events, networking with faculty/professors and engaging student organizations.

I have a dual role on the Staffing team; moreover, I am responsible for providing all levels of coordination support and also managing the College Recruting Program. My main duties as a coordinator include scheduling, reference checks, processing reimbursements, candidate communications and job postings. For the College Recruiting Program I am responsible for building relationships with the top local universities, hosting information sessions, attending career fairs, recruiting new college grads and interns, creating events for our Summer Intern Program, developing policy and structure and continually maintain pipeline throughout the year.

I am responsible for recruiting top technical students from targeted universities around the country. I work directly with student organizations, career centers and faculty to create a strong and lucrative pipeline. In addition to representing Yahoo! at career fairs and tech talks, I attend conferences, workshops and other events which help promote the company and open up networking opportunities with potential future hires. Each campus strategy is continually reviewed and altered if necessary, to ensure that the best fit students are being engaged.

This role required a focus on supporting both Campus Representatives and Recruiters. I managed all university event logistics, conducted on-boarding for both interns and new hires, planned and executed 2nd Round interviews on site, worked directly with the Intern Program to plan summer events and activities, helped create new and improved processes, maintained job postings at targeted universities and on Yahoo! Careers Website, and facilitated communication between the universities and my team.

As Community Care Specialist my two main responsibilities were managing Epinions member accounts and monitoring the Trust & Safety platform. I mediated issues between merchants and shoppers, addressed abuse reports, performed merchant fraud checks, moderated shopper feedback, communicated shopper concerns via monthly newsletters and filed reports regarding deal mis-maps and pricing errors.
