Recruited to join the Investment Specialist team for Real Assets at Aviva Investors, with a primary focus on developing strategic partnerships with global investors for transactions of scale across Real Estate and Infrastructure, Debt and Equity. Focused on delivering better outcomes for our investors and stakeholders across Real Assets.

Originally recruited to join Standard Life Investment's Global Client Group as an Investment Specialist focused on real estate. Subsequently promoted to Investment Director within Global Product & Proposition at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Core remit to commercialise and grow real estate franchise as a fundamental pillar of private markets offer. Responsible for real estate product strategy and development of co-investment capability. Aberdeen Standard Investments is the brand name for Standard Life Aberdeen’s new investment arm following the merger of the two businesses in August 2017.

Led the transaction management of all European real estate fundraisings with global capital partners, interacting extensively with and managing the competing demands of general partners and limited partners. Developed knowledge of major European markets with clients in the UK, Nordics, Germany, France, CEE and Turkey.

Worked in a variety of investment, development and asset management roles in the UK and continental Europe. Delivered a strategy to overhaul Aggmore's client reporting platform, introducing new data management tools and financial models. Clarified management and reporting protocols with multiple stakeholders in different countries, including debt and equity partners. Entailed traveling and living in Central and Eastern Europe.

Joined as a graduate and subsequently worked in several investment and asset management roles, as well as a year with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in the Industrial Markets and Valuation Teams. Gained experience across the major commercial asset classes and worked on a variety of deals, including forward fundings, sale and leasebacks and developments, as well as traditional investment properties. Developed expertise in sourcing, underwriting and financing real estate assets.

Member of a team focussed on the asset management and development of the Regent Street portfolio on behalf of the Crown Estate. Specifically involved in the redevelopment of the block to the east of Hanover Square that now houses the renowned Apple store.
