Performing experimental duties related to the expanding work using the experimental models to evaluate gene and cell therapies developed by the Research & Discovery Team. My role involves designs, developments and performing the preclinical research using in vivo models. I am organising and coordinating the projects and contribute towards all aspects of the practical R&D lab work such as sample processing and data analysis.

Implementing a standardized method of generating and validating patient-derived organoids from different tumour type. Provide practical expertise in optimizing tissue processing for a range of assays including IBs, 3D organoids co-culture and 2D cell culture. Collaboration within Imaging Network, Pathology Department and Biobank at KCL & UCL and UCLH.

Research contribution to study the gut epithelium and maintenance of intestinal homeostasis: sorting progenitors from bone marrow or PBMCs, 3D cell culture (organoids, progenitors), cytokine analysis, PBMC’s and progenitors analysis using intracellular and extracellular staining, PFA cells fixing, blood genotyping chimeras, PCR, RNA extraction, harvesting and fixing PBMCs from spleen, Ficol fractionation, autopsies, sample collection/preparation, preparing media, Peyers patches identification and Lamina propria lymphocytes isolation. Participation in Pancreatic, Breast, Prostate and Leukemic cancer projects. Responsible for optimizing the xenograft models and testing of immunotherapies in-vivo. Specialized in the modeling of human cancers in vivo and in-vitro. Cell culture (Cancer and T cells co-culture), PBMC isolation using Ficol fractionation, Transduction of T-cells, MTT assay, bioluminescence imaging, formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue & cells line, ELISA, DNA&RNA extraction, flush and FACS bone marrow and H&E staining.

Perform non-regulated & regulated procedures (in accordance with level 3 lab SOPs) and laboratory techniques such as: autopsies, sample collection/preparation, tissue fixing and centrifugation, store & log tissue samples on an IT system and organise shipment for further analysis.
