Acting as the project's key business development leader, I conducted market research, investigated the business environment, and developed organizational strategy. Upon incorporating the company, I integrated it with the Klett Group's global supply chain, hired local sales force, and launched marketing and sales initiatives.

In brief: I converted a startup into a major player with an integrated global supply chain by driving high-stakes organizational change projects, building a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, leveraging linguistic and cultural competence to negotiate win-win agreements. Key accomplishments: - Converted a startup into a major global supply chain by developing strategy and negotiating partnership agreements. - Led and executed multi-phase end-to-end implementations of NetSuite ERP, Zoho CRM, and PrestaShop e-commerce. - Oversaw the development of a state-of-the-art online content platform and supervised about 100 client implementations. Responsibilities in operations: - Supervise an operations team of 10, responsible for supply chain and data operations, sourcing, inventory, and accounting. - Control multi-currency finances and inventory accounting in a NetSuite OneWorld environment with $10M+ in revenue. - Spearhead a continuous improvement program and oversee agile implementations of cross-functional projects. - Oversee human resources for an international team of 30 to hire top talent, retain employees, and comply with regulations. Responsibilities in business development: - Serve as a multilingual liaison with Spanish and German affiliates, navigating diverse legal and cultural landscapes. - Create product categories, lead demand forecasting, and increase profitability through strategic purchasing and pricing.

- Collaborated with the Sales Manager and the Board of Directors to provide a strategic direction for the company. - Conducted financial analysis of sales, to evaluate growth and profitability, to identify areas for growth and establish successful pricing and discount policies. - Collaborated with marketing and sales team to implement a new e-commerce store, develop maintenance processes, and lead initiatives to create a customer-centric shopping experience. - Oversaw and supported the work of the marketing department by developing a marketing strategy, conducting a search for a Marketing Manager, coordinating the contracting of and communication with external agencies, and conducting ROI analysis. - Developed budgets, regularly revised projections, created policies, and provided employee training to optimize the company's spending and cash flow. - Carried out key HR functions, including employee onboarding, payroll, compliance analysis, and development of an employee handbook suitable for a rapidly growing team.

I served as a board member to advance the mission of Emmaus Farm, a nonprofit retreat center that hosts volunteer groups for a week of service with the community of Lewis County, Kentucky, Appalachian cultural immersion, and spiritual retreat with an emphasis on Catholic Social Teaching.

- Developed and executed schedules, budgets, and flowcharts related to campus ministry events. - Communicated with an eight-person ministry team to develop the strategy and structure of the organization. - Directed committees of staff and students in organizing outreach events and retreats. - Scheduled and conducted one-on-one mentoring meetings with students. - Built the Center’s public relations by developing connections with donors and coordinating fundraising events.

Department of History - Compiled statistical and geographic data related to ritual murder accusations and related trials of European Jews in the nineteenth century. - Used ArcGIS to design maps for a book about ritual murder accusations. - Regularly met with the faculty primary investigator to present ideas for visual representation of the studied material.

Humanities Digital Workshop - Managed data operations and applied statistics, SQL, programming languages, OCR, and natural language processing. - Designed innovative NLP tools to mine large text corpora, model topics, and generate insights for linguistics research. - Collaborated with faculty to quantitatively analyze historical consumer behaviors in the American Midwest.

Workshop for Politics, Ethics, and Society - Managed and regularly updated the Workshop's email list. - Communicated with the Workshop's participants, as well as faculty presenters and discussants about logistical matters. - Sent regular promotional emails about the Workshop and related events.

Interdisciplinary Project in the Humanities / Department of Political Science (from May 23, 2016) - Assembled a bibliography of secondary literature exploring the arguments in Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations - Used online databases, including JSTOR, Google Scholar, online academic journals, and library catalog - Wrote executive summaries of significant articles and books - Attended regular meetings with the faculty investigator to discuss findings

- Investigated the mechanisms of collective memory among Polish Jews who left Poland in the first half of the twentieth century to help build the State of Israel and start a new life in it. - Explained the findings and their significance for contemporary Polish-Jewish relations in articles directed at the general public.

- Collected information from Polish embassies and other state institutions and drafted briefs for meetings between Polish. officials, including the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Parliament, and Israeli state officials - Researched and wrote an 8,000-word paper about the role of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the Middle East peace process. - Updated the Department’s materials on EU-Israel and EU-Palestine relations and translated internal documents.

- Managed Political Review’s website, including publishing articles, design, and resolving technical issues. - Cooperated with the Digital Media Strategist to promote the publication. - Worked with writers and editorial team to provide most current content and organize campus-wide events. - Wrote articles for the Political Review.

During my studies at Northwestern University, I effectively responded to the global pandemic by exercising flexibility in my research methods and leveraging connections to obtain sources from archives and historians in Poland despite difficulty with travel, as well as closures and delays. The result of this research is my Master's thesis titled: “Controlling the Nation: Institutions, Precious Objects, and Authority in Communist Poland,” which explores the relationship between politics, legal systems, culture, and emotions.

I completed, with the highest distinction, a rigorous, research-intensive major in the Interdisciplinary Project in the Humanities and a minor in Political Science. Based on extensive archival research and oral history interviews in Israel and in Poland, I wrote a senior honors thesis titled: “The Poland of the Middle East: Europe, Revisionist Zionism, and the Shaping of Israeli Identity.”

I participated in an exchange program during the first semester of my third year of undergraduate studies, taking a full course load in French at the leading French institution in social sciences.
