About
With four years of experience in research and development in the semiconductor industry I am proficient in Data Analytics, Mathematical Modeling, Python, and Design of Experiments. A Physicist by training, I hold a Ph.D. in experimental condensed matter Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from UTEP. My current interests are working at the intersection and integration of hardware, data analytics, and data visualization. I am actively developing in the fields of Systems Engineering, and Systems Modeling using Complexity Science.

Developed numerical computations to estimate the mixing parameter of S and D waves in alpha-deuteron elastic scattering as a prospective mechanism for the nucleosynthesis for Li6, which is unaccounted for in the Big Bang Nucleosynthetic repertoire.

Studied the creation mechanism and electronic transport of the two dimensional electron gas at the epitaxial interface of LaAlO3 on SrTiO3. Discovered two different transport localization regimes in an all-thin film realization of the heterointerface. Explained the structural and electronic properties of a polar-polar [111] terminated interface. Conducted transport measurements necessary to prove that sputtering as a film growth technique also produced a two dimensional electron gas. Identified and characterized photo-responsive effects on the carrier density at the LaAlO3/SrTiO3 interface.

I currently work at Intel Corporation in the Portland Technology Development division where I mantain and develop optical tools used in Defect Metrology for processor technologies two to three generations ahead of current volume manufacturing. I collaborate closely with equipment suppliers to drive innovation and quality of their product to meet Intel's standards and fast paced product cycles.
