Managed the Appraisal Department through the merger of BNB and Dime Community Bank. Responsible for developing and implementing the appraisal ordering and review functions in support of commercial real estate lending goals which saw CRE loan portfolio grow by over $1.3B.

Manages all aspects of the Bank's appraisal ordering and review process in support of CRE lending. Presents quarterly real estate market analysis to Executive Management and the Board of Directors during Credit Risk Management meetings. Ensure that valuations are reasonably supported, credible and compliant with federal and state regulations, USPAP, FIRREA, Bank policies and guidelines, and industry standards. Responsible for evaluating and managing Bank Appraisal and Environmental Policy and Procedures.

Manages all aspects of the appraisal engagement and review process in support of the commercial lending teams. Review all third party appraisals and reviews performed in conjunction with CRE lending operations. Ensure that valuations are reasonably supported, credible and compliant with federal and state regulations, USPAP, FIRREA, Bank policies and guidelines, and industry standards. Analyze and present current trends in commercial real estate at quarterly commercial lending management meetings. Responsible for evaluating and managing Bank Appraisal and Environmental Policy and Procedures. Develop and implement the Appraisal Department's budget; responsible for rating and maintaining the list of approved appraisal and environmental vendors.

Perform appraisals and consultation services for investment, mortgage lending and asset management purposes. Project future property cash flows through Excel and Argus based on analysis of historical operating expenses and market data.

Perform thorough, on site, inspections of commercial real estate properties in the tri-state area. Review and synthesize market data, trends, cash flows, property tax records and other relevant data. Produce detailed valuation reports for internal and external mortgage financing purposes in accordance with USPAP. Familiar with valuing multiple property types including multi-family, retail, office, and mixed-use properties.
