NEDCC is the largest not-for-profit book, paper, and photographic conservation center in the U.S. I led the imaging team that captures these treasures either on film or as digital images. I also established the Audio reformatting program at NEDCC, which uses ultra state-of-the art IRENE (Image Reconstruct Erase Noise Etcetera) technology to image sound from mechanical carriers that are too fragile to play with a stylus.
