I have worked on menswear specialising in outerwear and tailoring, womenswear; working again on outerwear and tailoring plus Knitwear, Jersey and Fleece. Currently I work as head of Retail for the Without Prejudice/Geko group, responsible for managing and planning their concession business and planning their web business.

I actively managed the commercial aspects of the Sales Department for the outerwear supplier Rice 2 which specialises in mens formalwear, made in China. The company’s main customers in the UK were Next, Moss Bros., Slaters and the Men’s Warehouse in the US. My main responsibilities included: -Maximising sales and margin requirements for the company, whilst also meeting the customer’s price requirements. I did this by providing creative solutions for sales team members afforded by my unique knowledge base within the company, and negotiating with both customers and factory base to achieve this. -Working with the sale team to help convert sales opportunities into orders; working to source fabrics and products that are more commercial plus new and innovative from China using my knowledge of the factory & mill base. - Monitoring and constructing all garment costing matrixes for the business. To ensure this process is efficient I reviewed and improve the company’s costing system and costing process in accordance with the constantly changing requirements for the business.
