Sourcing, editing, and publishing blogs and podcasts for the graduate-run affiliate blog of the Journal of the History of Ideas. Topics include Black women’s cinema, the New Negro Renaissance in the Midwest, Sermons and Revolutionary Era intellectual history, the mid-twentieth-century ‘little magazine’, and subway reading in early-twentieth-century New York.

Representing graduate students’ interests within the Association, working as within a team to run a wide variety of research and training events, including the Graduate Luncheon at the 2024 Southern Historical Association Annual Conference. As coordinator of the International Graduate Network, individually organised panels and events including a University of Erfurt Collaborative Research Symposium on racial capitalism, a Brown v. Board of Education 70th Anniversary commemorative panel, and a special panel on the dilemmas of studying southern history from Europe/the UK at the Historians of the Twentieth-Century United States 2024 Annual Conference.

Hosting interviews concerning recently released works in American Studies for the world’s largest book-related podcast.

•Developing and maintaining the Centre’s communications via newsletters, social media, and the blog. •Providing support for funded projects, including the administration and processing of allocated funds, event organisation, and the recording and documentation of events. •Organising the Centre’s main event, the Festival of Humanities Education, to take place in May 2025.

Supporting the Cornell/UCL/KCL international research collaboration 'War and the State' by planning two in-person project events (one at UCL in May 2024 and one at Cornell in September 2024), and contributing to the development of significant grant proposals to bodies including the National Endowment of the Humanities, the British Academy, and the Leverhulme Trust.

Recorded, produced, edited, and disseminated podcasts for a Latin America and Caribbean Seminar course for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office diplomats run by Dr Par Engstrom (UCL).

Co-Convenor of the 2024 UCL Research Americas Network Graduate Symposium: ‘Historical Roots, Modern Realities: Nationalism across the Americas’ • Planning, conceiving, and executing a one-day symposium on nationalism within the Americas at UCL’s Institute of the Americas. • Awarded grant funding by the BAAS Development Fund to support a distinguished keynote from Dr Alvita Akiboh (Yale), a new books panel crossover event with U.S. Studies Online on "The New Nationalism in America and Beyond", support for digital access and equity prizes, and an award for the best paper.

• Leading the Institute of Historical Research-based network for over 1,200 postgraduates working on history. • Recruiting and leading a fourteen-person team of postgraduate scholars. • Conceiving and executing conferences, seminars, and skill development programmes. • Leading a programme to reform our award portfolio, blog, and website through past participant feedback and liaising with Institute of Historical Research partners.

Planning, conceiving, and executing three terms of programming for the Institute for Historical Research-based seminar program, targeted particularly at UK-based doctoral students. Also responsible for special events, including the ‘Three Minute Pitch’ session.

• Employed by the UK and Commonwealth’s national academy of science through a three-month placement funded by UK Research and Innovation. • Working within the Education Team to support the development of a broad, balanced and connected curriculum in UK schools to prepare young people for the jobs of the future. • Regularly liaising with the Education Policy team, the Science Policy section and key external stakeholders including Senior Fellows and Mathematics education experts. • Assisting on communications plans, event launches, and information dissemination for the Mathematical Futures Report and offering wider support to the mathematics education programme.

Worked to support the delivery of the 2024 British Association of American Studies via Discord.

● Commissioning, editing, and publishing reviews of events and conferences related to American Studies community from PGRs and ECAs ● Researching upcoming American Studies events for review and maintaining USSO's events calendar ● Liaising with and conducting interviews with events organisers as part of the 'Eyes on Events' video podcast series ● Recording, editing and uploading 'Eyes on Events' interviews to USSO's website, launching new subseries on American Politics and Policy and 'Eyes on Exhibits', a feature of events from the arts and heritage sector

Dissertation: "America’s 1976 Revolutionary Bicentennial and Civil Religion in an Age of Fracture", supervised by Professor Gary Gerstle. Final mark: 74.

Co-Supervisors: Dr Nick Witham and Dr Dan Matlin (King’s College London) Dissertation: "‘Walking the Tightrope’: John Hope Franklin and the Dilemmas of African American History in Action’". Funded by Three-Year Doctoral funding from the London Arts & Humanities Partnership and co-supervised by Professor Nick Witham (UCL) and Dr Dan Matlin (King's College London). Utilises the life, scholarship, and activism of the African American historian John Hope Franklin as a lens on racialisation and segregation within the historical profession and memory, nationhood, and race in the twentieth-century United States more broadly.

Final Dissertation: "Wayne Morse and Senatorial Dissent against the Imperial Presidency during the Vietnam War" , supervised by Professor Andrew Preston. Received the Frank Pollard Prize for Excellence in History and a Bateman Scholarship (2019) and the Kitty Crawley Prize for Excellence in History and a Bateman Scholarship (2020).
