Finance executive with 20 years of international experience across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia, spanning strategic finance, business transformation, governance, risk management and operational improvement.Currently Head of Finance (Membership & Customer Excellence) at The Hong Kong Jockey Club, one of Asia's largest and most complex integrated organisations. Reporting to the Group CFO, I lead a team of 40+ finance professionals providing strategic finance, business partnering and governance support across hospitality, membership, racecourse and wagering businesses, including operations supporting annual wagering turnover in excess of HK$300 billion (USD$38 billion).My specialty lies in helping organisations make better decisions by connecting strategy, customer experience, operations and finance. Having worked across a broad range of functions throughout my career, I bring an enterprise-wide perspective to complex challenges, helping leaders navigate ambiguity, evaluate investments, allocate resources effectively and translate strategy into practical and sustainable outcomes.Areas of focus include:• Strategic finance and business partnering• Investment governance and capital allocation• Business transformation and change leadership• Performance management and value creation• Data, analytics and AI-enabled decision support• Risk management, governance and internal controls• Leadership and organisational capability buildingCurrent responsibilities include:• FP&A and business partnering support for wagering and customer channel businesses generating more than HK$300 billion in annual turnover.• Financial leadership for five premium clubhouses across Hong Kong and Mainland China, two world-class racecourses, extensive hospitality operations and membership businesses.• Strategic investment evaluation, governance, performance management and financial stewardship for some of the Club's most significant businesses and assets.Prior to my current role, I led finance process excellence, capital governance and enterprise transformation initiatives within the Club. Earlier in my career, I held senior consulting roles with PwC (New York), KPMG (Sydney) and as an independent consultant across Europe, advising organisations on governance, risk, controls and business transformation. My experience spans sports, media, entertainment and gaming, including with organisations such as Major League Baseball, NBC Universal, Warner Music and William Hill.
