* ICT Accreditation Australia was formed to provide industry guideline for the ethical & acceptable implementation of ICT solutions. * My key responsibilities with ICTAA: * Responsibility for the selection & development of information technology for ICTAA. * Manage, in conjunction with other leaders, the project approval and selection process. * Ensure that all initiatives in the IT portfolio have clear business goals and success metrics. * Monitor and report on the performance of the IT portfolio including results, budgets and projects. * Perform an ongoing assessment of IT capabilities across the System. * Evaluate ICT performance and skill against ICTAA needs. * In conjunction with other leaders, understand and establish the working relationship with the * Oversee relationships between ICTAA’s IT resources and external entities. * Ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information.

* Choice Tel is an IT solution provider in the Home and SME markets in Brisbane. * My role was as the companies "go-to" for all Information and Communication solutions for customer and partner requirements; including: * Internet, network & connectivity. * Security & virus management. * Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Exchange, IIS) * Backup and Archive requirements. * System design and construction. * During this time, I managed the onsite installations for a 30-site Wide Area Network deployment for Churches of Christ Care in their aged-care facilities. I was also responsible for the physical changeover for BlueCare's mobile phone platform in their aged-care and administrative departments.

The State Emergency Service (SES) forms a part of Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) which is a Division of the Queensland Government's Department of Community Safety (DCS). During my time with Brisbane's SES, I received training in First Aid, Air Search & Rescue, Floodboat Operations. In 2008, I was selected to be deployed as part of the 5-member Incident Management Team deployed to the Emerald Floods zone as Logistics Officer. In this role I was responsible for the welfare of operational volunteers and inter-department relations with the Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire and Rescue Service. Also in 2008, I was appointed Team Leader of the Floodboat group; responsible for the operation of the specialized rescue boat operating in swiftwater/floodwater As part of my duties in a senior capacity, I was involved in the development of training exercises for members and presentation to recruits. While still involved with the State Emergency Service, I had to withdraw from full-time service due to work commitments.

Closing their remaining retail presence in 2003, Mellick Enterprises became one of the largest call center operators in the telecommunications space. As Systems Administrator, I reported to the Directors & was responsible for the operation of the companies ICT equipment and software platforms; including PABX, Servers & inhouse CRM/Asset/Billing/Dispatch system, Admin Central. In 2005, Mellick Enterprises acquired additional office space in Spring Hill, QLD. After extensive design, development the space for 150 operators plus 30 administrative staff members commenced in August 2005 and was operational the following month. My direct role with Mellick Enterprises ended in 2007 when they moved their primary operations to the Philippines; at which time they became an ongoing client of DirectNET Pty Ltd.
