As Group IT Manager at Nexus i was responsible for the company groups global IT operations. My responsibilities were team management, reporting to stakeholders and CTO/CEO, maintaining contracts, policies, consultants, managing and driving IT projects, IT system maintenance, disaster recover and processes. Along having an overall responsibility for IT I was also operative in managing VMWare infrastrucutre, firewalls, security, smart cards, helpdesk systems, ERP and more in day to day business. I'm particularly happy about building a global IT team operating as one as well as merging and converging IT infrastructure, systems and processes during a time when several independent companies merged to one company culture. Another interesting project I was happy be part of was the migration project from on premise to Office 365 with MFA.

As a Visma Business consultant at Visma Actit I was in a team managing and developing business processes, automation, IT infrastructure, writing SQL for a major plant retailer as well as developing adaptations and integrations. I worked intensely with Microsoft SQL and Visma Reporting, Visma BI (Microsoft Reporting).

Operative team leader in a team consisting of consultants and employees. Main responsibilities were managing the team, managing contracts, managing consultants, leading projects, maintaining the IT infrastructure consisting of a Microsoft Hyper-V cluster with clustered Microsoft SQL for the company group. I am particularly proud of having lead and completed a hand scanner project aiming to increase the warehouses performance of picking, packing and shipping goods. This was done with Microsoft Dynamics AX and RF Smart. I also introduced and developed reports in Microsoft Reporting with data from multiple sources. Introducing a proactive way of working with IT service monitoring increased the availability of IT services.

During my time as a Business consultant and developer at WH Group I introduced the Business Intelligence BI tool Visma Reporting (Microsoft Reporting). This enabled our customers to get automated reports. I also developed several cutomizations of the ERP system Visma Business for customers in VB .Net.

Started Jun 2006 as responsible for IT and later Global IT Manager March 2009 onwards. Responsible for building an IT team serving the company groups several offices around the world. I was also responsible for setting and enforcing policies, managing supplier contracts, leading projects, maintenance and implementation of IT systems, integration between several IT systems and disaster recovery. I enjoyed working close to the whole organization with people from all levels. Projects Implementing, maintaining the ERP system Visma Business to fit our needs for finance, customer service, production etc. were particularly interesting projects as well as implementing Salesforce CRM closely integrating it to the ERP. Other projects I'm proud of completing are Virtualizing physical servers with VMWare, migrating Microsoft Active Directory, implementing and integrating GLPi helpdesk system and a lot of automation.
