Contributing in several different aspects of our business. Key role includes first contact with new leads and taking them through our sales process, establish their scope of work, gather all necessary information, provide pricing for project, follow up, and close sale. My role carries over as an assistant to the General Manager and Technical Director in maintaining communication with quoted customers and contracted work. Work to increase our marketing efforts and expand our network allowing us to penetrate further into markets we have already tapped into. Finding creative ways to introduce our products and services to the decision makers for HOA's, Country Clubs, Property Management, School Districts, Universities, Parks and Recreation, to name a few. Updating and improving current marketing materials and assisting with website effectiveness.

Was the go to person for several Internet retail customers across the country. I performed customer service duties, presented new and internet specific product lines, and helped develop new retailer's websites.

Was able to shadow all aspects of Poolcorp's business plan through the everyday operations on a local branch level. Spent time working in Inside and Outside Sales/Business Development, Operations and Warehouse Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Employee Development. Took on big and small projects on many different levels, including: Human Capitol Management, Warehouse efficiency, Business Development, and Marketing exclusive product lines.

Brief summer internship where I had the opportunity to see all departments in a corporate setting. Was deeply drawn to the sales portion of my time here and was able to sit in on all types of sales meetings: first contact, relationship building, negotiations, etc. Also spent time with International Sales, Distribution, Inventory Control, Human Resources, and Accounting. Our last month included branch visits to see day-to-day operations on those sites. Was interesting to compare the differences and similarities of Corporate to the branch setting.

In charge of growing Kansas City, Wichita, and Nebraska Wedding Guides. Structured online marketing packages for various businesses related to "The Big Day." Worked toward daily, weekly, and monthly goals set by myself and managers.
