Worked as a Civil Engineer and Project Coordinator on simultaneous civil, building, and infrastructure construction projects, alternating between the office and construction sites. As a coordinator, I was responsible for all aspects of project management including the management of RFI’s, change orders, shop drawing submittals, and site instructions, keeping track of project schedules and cost projections, coordinating subcontractors and trade forces, aiding procurement and material delivery, and generating progress reports and meeting minutes. I did detailed quantity surveys, estimated costs for change orders and tenders, reviewed subcontractor quotations, and estimated site instructions and work orders. As an engineer/field, I analyzed construction plans and specifications in the civil, structural, and architectural fields, conducted site inspections and investigations, did soil density testing, concrete sampling/testing, quality assurance and quality control checks, among other things.

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is the largest oil and gas corporation under Indian ownership, undertaking extensive operations in the production and exploration of oil and gas assets in India. In my internship with ONGC, I was involved in providing assistance in civil engineering as well as field coordination with respect to civil construction works in an industrial setting involving large-scale construction projects such as foundation construction, waste pit construction, mass concrete foundations, and rig foundations. As part of my routine tasks, I undertook site inspections, conducted material take-offs, performed quality assurance documentation, and coordinated with contractors and site supervisors in all active construction sites. Work experience with ONGC exposed me to the practice of industrial construction operations in a controlled environment.

Mahadev Group is a residential construction company, mainly concentrating on construction projects for multi-story buildings with high-quality construction and timely delivery. In my present internship period, I was working in a live residential construction site along with the site engineer and site foreman and participated in the technical aspects as well as field implementation of the same. I analyzed the architectural and structural drawings in terms of their feasibility and activity sequencing and provided my assistance in the field construction of RCC structures such as formwork, reinforcement works, casting of concrete and brick works as per the design drawings. I made on-site inspections and performed quality check procedures, documented field reports and made coordination with the site foreman and various field workers to overcome the difficulties faced at the site level.

Completed a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering at Charotar University of Science and Technology, where I built a strong academic foundation in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, and construction technology. The program combined theoretical learning with practical applications through design assignments, quantity estimation, surveying, and engineering drawing interpretation, developing problem-solving, analytical, and project planning skills relevant to real-world construction projects.
