I am an experienced leader specialising in digitalisation, data and cross-functional collaboration. For many years, I have worked at the intersection of business and technology, leading teams, shaping stable digital solutions, and driving improvements in complex organisations. Leading the global Biostatistics function at Novo Nordisk comprising approx. 400 employees across Denmark, India and US contributing across the entire clinical portfolio in all phases of clinical development. Driving ambition, innovation, DEI agenda, transforming roles of statisticians and statistical programmers, and accelerating external outreach. Contributing to business development and integration of new assets including staff, continuous stakeholder management and collaboration and mentoring of leaders across the organization. Contributing to establishment of internal data sharing methodology and platform. Business owner of statistical computing environment working according to agile methodology (agile release trains) for IT development. Introduction of agile concepts and tools in a biostatistics set-up.

Leader of leaders in Biostatistics in selected therapeutic areas and later for the entire Biostatistics organization. Driving harmonization, efficiencies and implementation of data standards (CDISC). Building collaboration models with stakeholders, and strengthening global roles and responsibilities. Streamlining outsourcing, implementing global set-up for innovation and experimentation, and driving program for talent rotation. Steering committee member for clinical system upgrades, data owner and system owner of statistical computing environment and clinical data warehouse.

Leading a team of specialists within statistics & statistical programming responsible for scientific innovation and implementation, standards & clinical systems development and maintenance, quality maintenance, onboarding and training. Further, heading up a group of global graduates within drug development and an administrative team.
