Indoor/Outdoor Smart Wireless Camera Systems • Oversaw the design, development, and manufacturing of components and systems for innovative Smart Wireless Camera products, ensuring they met performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability requirements for indoor and outdoor use. • Managed ODM and supplier relationships, conducted on-site audits, and supported supplier development to mitigate design and supply chain risks, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and project expectations. • Drove product design, engineering, and prototyping, ensuring manufacturability, rigorous quality control, and seamless integration across cross-functional teams, including electrical, optical, firmware, and software engineering. • Oversaw ramp-up and mass production phases, troubleshooting complex design issues and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability. • Managed mechanical engineering project timelines and budgets, ensuring on-time milestone delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. • Regularly presented key insights, risks, and progress updates to senior leadership to enable informed decision-making and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Camera Systems • Led the end-to-end development of Indoor/Outdoor Smart Wireless Camera Systems, managing the engineering design and mass production of critical components and systems to achieve performance, quality, and cost objectives while ensuring compliance with industrial design requirements. • Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions with electrical and optical systems, troubleshoot design challenges, and implement stringent quality control standards. • Created CAD part and assembly models for various manufacturing processes, including plastic and metal injection molding, stamping, metal forming, CNC machining, die-casting and coating to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability. • Managed ODM and supplier relationships and oversaw production processes, ensuring timely delivery of components that met quality expectations, including conducting on-site supplier audits and supporting continuous improvements. • Managed project timelines, coordinated resources, and ensured compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle - from concept to mass production.

Video Collaboration - Audio and Video Conferencing Devices • Led the mechanical design, development, and optimization of audio and video conferencing devices, ensuring exceptional functionality, durability, and alignment with industrial design principles. • Collaborated cross-functionally with acoustics, systems, electrical, optical, and firmware engineering teams to ensure alignment with overall product requirements and performance goals. • Generated 2D and 3D CAD models using PTC Creo and Solidworks for a range of manufacturing processes, including plastic and metal injection molding, stamping, metal forming, die-casting, coating and CNC machining. • Managed the prototyping process, conducted thorough testing to meet industry standards, and troubleshot design challenges to ensure product quality. • Worked closely with suppliers for sourcing materials and components, conducted on-site supplier audits, oversaw production ramp-up and builds and drove continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance. • Managed project timelines and budgets, ensuring all mechanical designs aligned with product specifications, regulatory requirements, and cost constraints throughout the product lifecycle.

• Created designs for innovative products, including consumer electronics and accessories, using advanced CAD platforms for design and analysis. • Visited suppliers on-site to oversee design verification and the manufacturing process, including methods such as plastic injection molding, stamping, metal forming, die-casting, coating and CNC machining to ensure products met specifications. • Refined designs using in-house prototyping and additive manufacturing resources. • Worked closely with industrial design and product marketing teams to ensure mechanical solutions integrated seamlessly with the overall product vision. • Managed project timelines, budgets, and supplier relationships, driving continuous improvements in design and production to meet cost constraints and enhance product performance.

• Responsible for the design and manufacturing of electromechanical consumer products, including wireless audio solutions. • Worked closely with manufacturing teams in Asia to ensure designs were manufacturable, and met required specifications. • Translated design concepts into actionable mechanical engineering tasks, bridging the gap between creative design and technical feasibility. • Created detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (SolidWorks and Pro-E/Creo) and developed prototypes to validate and refine design concepts and iterations. • Collaborated with the design and engineering teams to ensure designs met both aesthetic and functional requirements while maintaining manufacturability. • Oversaw testing and validation, ensuring products met industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

• Assisted the research team in investigating the cerebral effects on the brain caused by periodic muscle vibrations, contributing to data collection, analysis, and interpretation. • Designed and built a non-magnetic vibration device prototype specifically for use in fMRI studies, ensuring compatibility and effectiveness for neuroimaging experiments.
