Tim Tan, Director, Laticrete South East Asia Pte Ltd, has been involved in the construction materials technology business for over 20 years. - has been providing education and support to industry professionals around the world in the field of building mortars and construction chemicals since mid-nineties promoting the use of environmental building technologies and methodologies. Tim, with a long family history dating back some 40 years in cement, concrete, building mortar and construction chemicals, is the joint venture partner of Laticrete South East Asia Private Limited. - is responsible for developing and promoting Laticrete’s technologies globally. Some of these include floor leveling systems, building insulation and energy saving materials. - expertise includes design and construction of production plants for drymix mortar and construction chemicals in China, Malaysia and Singapore. - served as a building design consultant on various construction developments such as hospitals, factories, office, religious, educational and residential buildings. - has also been instrumental in the formation of the South East Asia Drymix Mortar Association in 2006 in which he has held the post as an executive committee member. He has participated in numerous drymix mortar conferences as a speaker on the technology. - enjoys the outdoor activities of sailing and mountain climbing. Actively engages in triathlons.
