Tim Morningstar

Tim Morningstar is EVP and Chief Growth Officer at BJs Wholesale Club. Prior to joining BJs, Tim was a senior partner in the Boston office of Bain & Company. He joined the firm in 2002 as a Summer Associate while attending graduate school. While at Bain, Tim worked primarily in the consumer packaged goods and retail industries. He has also led projects on corporate and private equity mergers and acquisitions and post merger integrations.Prior to joining Bain & Company, Tim spent two years in the White House office of Vice President Al Gore working on political and legislative affairs. Prior to working in Washington, Tim was a Consultant at Public Financial Management, focusing on the healthcare and higher-education sectors.Tim earned an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School. He was an undergraduate at Harvard University, where he received a BA with honors in Government.Tim and his family live in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston.
