In my role as an Electrical Instructor at The Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center, I facilitated the building and implementation of individualized labs to help students grow in self-confidence and hands-on skills. I also lead the SkillsUSA program at SICTC. Additionally, I improved the student experience by bringing in NCCER curriculum and certifications to the class. As of the 23/24 school year, the class has been granted pre-apprenticeship status from the state of Indiana.

Working as an electrician at MEL-KAY ELECTRIC COMPANY INC in Evansville, Indiana, I honed my skills to prepare for mentoring the next generation of electrical workers. I ensured the smooth operation of electrical systems, prioritized safety, and collaborated with colleagues to solve complex issues.

- Instruct adult learners using NCCER construction curriculum in an evening class
