At Veradermics, we are a team of dermatologists proudly developing first-in-class therapeutics that address patient needs in under-innovated dermatology markets. I co-founded Veradermics with our CEO, Reid Waldman, to create paradigm-shifting medical dermatology solutions and fill a void in innovation for common skin conditions that still have treatment challenges.As Chief Technical Officer of Veradermics, I head research and development for the company and serve as the primary medical expert for clinical operations. Since the company’s founding, I have successfully advanced ideas on paper into late-stage clinical testing including the company’s lead asset, VDPHL01, a non-hormonal oral therapeutic for the treatment of pattern hair loss currently in Phase 3 clinical trials.I am a board-certified dermatologist by training with more than 10 years of clinical experience and have been recognized as an expert in innovation for both drug and device domains within the field of dermatology, having authored a number of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on a variety of dermatologic subjects. I also served as a United States Air Force active duty officer and proudly am still involved in the care of the dermatology needs of our veterans.
