* Production of live newscast under tight deadlines and ever changing conditions while coordinating resources and maintaining quality. * Troubleshoot technical and logistical problems in person and over the phone. * Operation of live trucks. Setup and take down of live shots including breaking news shots and organized events ranging from sports to news conferences. * Use of non-linear editing equipment for use on air and pre-produced video segments. Serve as instructor for editing software use and techniques. * Satellite and microwave signal acquisition and troubleshooting for live shot establishment. * Proactively identify potential problems and determine solutions on the fly. * Interaction with on air personalities and coordination with producers on various needs and problems. * Provide layman term information to management for decision making. * Identified several opportunities to improve operational processes. * Answer viewer phone calls to provide information, answer question or take down news tips.

* I serve on the events board for a local not-for-profit with the goal of providing better educational opportunities for under-privileged children. * Design and produce promotional material including hardcopy and video material. * Plan and operate charity fund raising booths at local events. This includes setup and teardown of tents, displays, tables and audio/video equipment. * Solicit donations of money and goods from high profile donors. * Plan and discuss new events with fellow board members as well as secure resources for events. * Set up and operate any and all audio/video equipment needed for events. * Communicate charity goals to the public and answer donor questions.
