The Aviation Security Professional Management Course (AVSEC PMC) is one of the most advanced training programs in aviation security, leading to the official AVSEC PM designation. This program was developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in collaboration with the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in 2004. It is designed to strengthen the competencies of mid- and senior-level aviation security managers, particularly in the implementation of international standards outlined in Annex 17 and the application of the ICAO Aviation Security Manual (Doc 8973).
