My background is in Sustainable Energy Technology (TU Delft), with expertise in heating and cooling systems, district energy, and thermal energy storage. I am particularly motivated by turning technical knowledge into practical solutions that support a climate-neutral energy system.

Master thesis: Co-Simulation of a District Heating and Cooling System in Combination with Mine Thermal Energy Storage - A Case Study in Germany Developing a co-simulation of a district heating and cooling system in combination with Mine Thermal Energy Storage (MTES). This contains the following: • Setup of a new heating and cooling system with integration of the MTES system. • Setup of the control strategy for the new system. • Development of the MTES model in Python. • Development of the district heating and cooling model in Modelica (Dymola). • Development of an orchestrator in Python to run the co-simulation. • Analysis of the technical, environmental, and techno-economic performance of the resulting system. This master thesis was conducted within the European PUSH-IT Project. This EU-funded project aims to demonstrate the full-scale application of high-temperature heat storage in geothermal reservoirs.
