I am a physician experienced in patient-centric environments and in intensive clinical research and translational research environments at top-tier institutions. I am inspired and excited to leverage my knowledge and experience at a rapidly developing intersection of clinical medicine and technology, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, public health as well as medical communications and finance industries. My clinical specialty is Otolaryngology/Ear Nose Throat (ENT) diseases and Head and Neck Surgery & Oncology. I hold PhD in oncology research; clinical research and translational genomics (Next Generation Sequencing) from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Amsterdam. Besides my clinical expertise, through my scientific doctorate I have acquired an in-depth understanding of scientific methodology and research strategy as well as project management of multidisciplinary team collaborations. Results of my research, including identification of novel cancer driver genes, received press coverage by the leading official expert organization. Because I believe in the immense value of quality education, I have a proven track record of teaching and mentoring extensively at University tertiary care hospital centers.
