I am a State of Georgia professional Licensed Practical Nurse. I have gained a wide experience of skills throughout my years of hands on practice in the field of nursing. My experience in this field are but are not limited to collecting data, completing care plans by using the steps in the nursing process, developing nursing diagnosis for patients and residents, maintaining sterility and infection control, administering medication,accurately calculating medication dosages, initiating IV's and port infusions, charting lab results and other data, interpreting lab results, and working with a diverse population of people, and providing patient education. I have worked in long term care facilities, hospitals, and public health. I have treated patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. In addition to executing a variety of clerical duties, I’m also experienced in medication prior authorization and medical procedure pre certifications.
