The warehouse specialist has to verify all the incoming merchandise and its documents and report any damages or discrepancies. He/she must have a complete understanding of the facility's storage plan and methods and perform the prescribed duties in accordance with them. Some of these duties refer to staking or storing materials, inventorying and examining them, then reporting to the supervisor any deterioration of the materials. The next step is to remove and prepare everything for shipment.
