I am a CAE / FEA Engineer specializing in explicit dynamics, nonlinear structural analysis and structural optimization. My experience spans high-fidelity product development simulations, drop-test analysis and structural integrity assessments. With a strong engineering foundation and simulation-driven mindset, I am particularly interested in applying advanced CAE methodologies to the offshore, energy, marine and shipbuilding industries.Currently, I work as a Structural FEA Engineer supporting R&D activities for consumer appliance products, focusing on drop-test simulations, impact analysis and design optimization using Altair Radioss and OptiStruct. My work involves developing simulation methodologies, conducting parametric studies and improving product performance through data-driven engineering decisions.I hold a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, providing a strong foundation in ship structures, classification society requirements, finite element analysis and structural design principles. My academic and professional experience enables me to bridge simulation technologies with practical engineering challenges across marine and industrial applications.I am passionate about engineering automation and continuously explore ways to improve simulation efficiency through Python, TCL/TK and VBA scripting. Client: PANASONIC APPLIANCES AIR-CONDITIONING MALAYSIA (PAPAMY) - Responsible to support product development by performing end-to-end Structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) from initial concept to final validation. - Led structural FEA validation for a next-generation product during its pre-development phase and supported 15+ R&D projects to accelerate design iterations. - Executed parametric studies across 50+ design variants to optimize structural stiffness and overcome constraints, compiling results into a reusable R&D benchmarking database. - Performed explicit dynamic drop-tests simulation (Altair Radioss) and linear/nonlinear structural analyses (OptiStruct) to evaluate impact response, static strength and structural integrity. - Developed TCL and VB scripts that cut preprocessing setup times by 46%. Performed CAD cleanup, geometry simplification, mesh preparation and model preprocessing for efficient finite element modeling workflows.
