Tiago Mesquita is an award winning Producer, Director and Cinematographer with over fifteen years of experience in Europe and the USA, having filmed in countries across the globe. Currently managing the company Crafted Films, which produces feature films and commercials, taking advantage of its own full production and post-production facilities. Tiago has worked with numerous Oscar winning actors or nominees such as John Malkovich, Ryan Gosling (“Drive”, “Notebook”) Javier Barden (“No country for old man”), Ernest Borgnine (“The wild bunch”), among many others. He was the winning Director of “Cinequest”, the feature film directing competition. Graduating with honors from the Los Angeles Film School on a scholarship from the Portuguese Ministry of Culture, he later taught film directing and cinematography. Apart from his film training, he also has a Law degree, the music conservatory (piano and guitar) and 15 years of martial arts training (2 black belts).
