Nano-satellites constellation development, satellite AIT facilities, ground station and launch!

- Support the industry partner to transfer knowledge of CubeSat to students - CubeSat technologies, decompose satellite mission requirements into mechanical, hardware and software requirements. - Work with faculties and industry partners to develop basic education materials to be used in CubeSat projects. - Support the development of a roadmap to focus in the buildup of technological capabilities in space/CubeSat technologies.

- Lead the conversations with customers from initial review of mission design to advising engineering decisions and matching with right suppliers - Influence the mission design/supply chain decisions on behalf of customers to optimize the space mission to reduce money, time and risk to get them to orbit - Help customers to make trade-off analysis, assist them in negotiations with suppliers - Work closely with the software product team to help them build the interfaces for listing client's requirements across different satellite sub-systems.

Co-responsible for laboratory layout design, selection and procurement of clean room tent, thermal vacuum chamber, vibration test equipment of YahSat Space Laboratory (approximately 4,000 sqft.) Co-advise a team of graduate students (12 graduated in 2017 and 8 in 2018) in a Joint Multi-disciplinary Graduate Academic Space Program between Masdar Institute, YahSat and Orbital ATK involving multiple CubeSat missions (with a total budget of more than $5M) Design, procure and set up a VHF/UHF/S-band CubeSat Ground Station Operate and maintain major laboratory equipment, including tvac chamber, vibe table and ground station Coordinate with faculty, support instructional coursework and conduct laboratory instructions Manage and coordinate satellite laboratory usage and schedule across multiple users and CubeSat missions Organize space education and outreach events for university students (Ektashif program) Interface with subject matter experts from academia, government and industry on satellite design, development and testing (OATK, YahSat, ISIS, GomSpace…), launch safety (NanoRacks/NASA) and frequency coordination processes (IARU, ITU, TRA)

3D modelling, Computer Graphics, visualization and simulation systems Develop realistic 3D scenery of Haiphong and Saigon ports based on UAV drone footage for use with ship's main bridge simulator Nautical charts editing and visualization Provide training and support for defense customers in using tactical simulation software

Organize space education and outreach events like Yuri's Night, World Space Week Give talks and seminars at universities, astronomy clubs on astronomy and space topics

Plan, procure and manage overall laboratory activities including CubeSat Ground Station Manage the full life cycle of F-1 CubeSat mission (one of the first CubeSats launched to the ISS and deployed to orbit on Oct 4, 2012). Participate in several international small satellite missions (QB50, UNIFORM-1, RISING-2…) Responsible for evaluation and selection of launch service provider Supervise employees including hiring, training on processes, procedures Organize team building activities, space education and outreach events Develop proposals for R&D projects

Lead On-Board Computer Software Team of PicoDragon CubeSat project, participate in design and development of the flight software Prepare flight safety documents for PicoDragon CubeSat (Safety Manager role) and participate in JAXA safety reviews Support the pre-feasibility study of Vietnam National Space Center project (with ODA funding from Japan)
