Thomas Robinson

Graduating from U of T in 2016 having specialized in computer science and minored in mathematics, I've been working as a software developer, consultant and occasional tech lead with Bits In Glass and then Accenture. I have a broad base of language and framework experience to draw from, including work in Sail (a proprietary functional language used in the Appian framework), Python, Java and C developing web, desktop and mobile applications as well as with relational algebra and it's associated technologies (SQL, MYSQL, etc). I also have experience in fulllstack website development through personal projects for myself and friends. I've gotten to use these tools in a wide variety of contexts ranging from medicine to fin-tech, on-site with clients from Toronto to Texas to Upstate New York. On a personal note, I've had the unique privilege of spending large parts of my child and young adulthood traveling and living abroad in Europe and Asia, spending years in Tehran, New Delhi and Brussels, among others. This has left me with an easy going and adaptable attitude which I've found to be an asset in the ever changing world of software development. Deciding to act on a lifelong fascination with tech, I started programming in grade eleven. I quickly found myself drawn to the constructive nature of development, the feeling of producing a functional, polished, usable object, which I continue to enjoy at a professional level.
