* After graduation I started working with Harpsden Wealth Management, a multi-award winning wealth management firm with in-house financial advisers and discretionary portfolio management. * My jobs have included * Providing financial reporting and analytics to the advisers * Implementation of a new back office system * Creating new Excel models for accounts and data * Attending bi monthly asset allocation meetings and fund manager updates * Leading and completing an in house compliance survey focusing on "treating clients fairly" * Reorganisation of archiving structure

I spent two weeks on the Syndicate desk in the Global Banking and Markets division of HSBC. During my time here I researched green, ethical and sukuk bonds in order to present to the team an alternative style of investment. Furthermore I worked with a team releasing a return to market bond for CIBC. This experience was vital as an introduction to debt capital markets and global banking as a whole, with the team providing me with valuable insights into the structure of fixed income products and their providers.

* Following from previous experience here, I moved from the finance division into the data, reporting and analytics side. This meant my daily work revolved around creating reports for clients from various sources of data and creating and improving databases for email deployment. I also worked with big data in order to provide in house analysis of trends and patterns. * My main roles included: * Creating excel models for clients following marketing campaigns * Data cleansing and analysis for both in house teams and clients * Creating and designing templates for presentations * Working with the campaign managers to determine the success of A/B testing * Liaising with the accounting team to help with modelling and forecasting

I assisted with the accounting team, by creating profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheets. Whilst managing these I followed up on my previous year's experience creating forecasts for the business, predicting growth following their expansion into America. I learned valuable Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills whilst working as part of this team.
