Legal Intern assisting the Law Office of Yvonne Garbett with criminal defense and family law matters, including client intake support, legal document preparation, case organization, court filings, scheduling, research, and general office administration.

During my summer internship at the Rockland County District Attorney's Office, I was assigned under a Senior ADA. My responsibilities included assisting in the preparation of legal documents, such as subpoenas and court notes, and conducting detailed felony assessments. I gained hands on experience in the legal field, working closely with my assigned ADA on various cases. This experience allowed me to observe and participate in the day to day operations of the District Attorney’s Office, further fueling my interest in pursuing a career in law.

The Don Bosco Prep Law Club is a student organization dedicated to exploring the field of law. We regularly invite guest speakers and alumni who are either currently in the legal profession or have experience in the field to share their insights and experiences. These sessions provide our members with valuable knowledge about various legal careers, real-world legal issues, and practical advice for pursuing a future in law. Our goal is to inspire and educate our members, fostering a deeper understanding of the legal landscape.

The Don Bosco Prep Dirtbrothers Club is dedicated to transforming our campus into an all-native plant environment. Our mission involves planting native species around the school grounds and educating the community about the environmental benefits of native plants. Native plants support local ecosystems, promote biodiversity, and require less maintenance and water, making them a sustainable choice for landscaping. By fostering an appreciation for native plants, we aim to enhance the look and ecological health of the Don Bosco Prep community.
