Responsible for coordination and consolidation of all data used in compiling the $65 million annual operating budget for this chain of 40 California convalescent hospitals. Also administered Group Benefit Plans, updated procedure manuals and developed Internal Audit Program for business functions in the facilities. WME was part of the Healthcare Division of ARA Services, now ARAMARK.

IPS is a project management training company. Partnering with Stanford University, IPS provides advanced project management training, leading to the Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) credential. As the Controller and CFO, responsible for all financial reporting to Board of Directors and Management Team. Built accounting/finance department from scratch, hired staff, implemented controls and procedures. Designed and developed financial reporting structure for IPS. Established key operating metrics. Developed operating budget, managed cash and company assets. Consolidated data from foreign operations. Supervised all accounting functions. Managed outside audit.

Catholic Charities is the human services agency of the Archdiocese of San Francisco and operates in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties. The agency had an annual operating budget of $9 million and 240 employees during this time period. As Controller/DOA supervised accounting personnel at four office locations, prepared annual budget, produced financial statements, managed cash, administered group benefit plans. Also managed outside audit. Instrumental in converting accounting system to PC's (from mini-computer).

Accounting Solutions is an executive search consulting firm specializing in staffing and placing highly qualified accounting and IT professionals in positions with their Bay Area client base. Provided accounting services to clients such as Fox & Carskadon (real estate) Visa International and Lucky Stores of Northern California. Developed PC skills during this timeframe.
