Whole School Education Technology Coach & Innovation Lead - Academic @ Kent College Dubai

About

I am an experienced, future-focused school leader with over 23 years of teaching and leadership experience across UK and international settings. My work is driven by a clear purpose: improving outcomes for learners by strengthening teaching, developing people, and building sustainable whole-school systems. Currently, I serve as Whole-School Computing Lead and Digital Innovation Coach at Kent College Dubai, where I lead pedagogy-first digital transformation. This includes embedding iPad-first teaching models, redesigning the computing curriculum, and delivering whole-staff CPD to improve digital pedagogy, raise attainment, and enhance student engagement. I specialise in aligning EdTech with school improvement priorities so that innovation delivers measurable impact in classrooms. My leadership experience spans roles such as Head of Year, subject leader, national curriculum consultant, and early career teacher coach. I was also appointed by the UAE Ministry of Education to lead the national rollout of Design Technology across public schools, supporting over 900 teachers and contributing to curriculum and assessment frameworks at scale. Alongside this, I am the co-founder of CollabUAE, a professional learning network dedicated to amplifying teacher voice and providing free, high-impact CPD through events, coaching, and knowledge sharing across the UAE and beyond. I am a values-driven, coaching-led leader who believes pedagogy comes first. Technology, data, and innovation only matter when they improve learning, reduce workload, and create long-term impact. I am currently expanding my strategic leadership expertise through the NPQH, with a continued focus on ethical leadership, collaboration, and sustainable school improvement.
