Apache Knox Setup Configuration & Deploiment, Openlab Summer Student ,CERN • Implemented Apache Knox with CERN Single Sign-On (SSO) for unified access management. • Secured key services including Hadoop Yarn, Hadoop HDFS, Hadoop MapReduce History, HBase, and Spark History Server through Knox proxy. • Ensured high availability (HA) of all secured services to enhance reliability. • Enabled auditing and monitoring to track and log access and security events. • Automated Knox deployment and management using Puppet and created a custom Knox RPM package for streamlined installation.
