In this position I simulated thermal conditions inside of various industrial facilities and recommended ventilation designs based on the results. I also performed analyses of company products to provide customers with a better understanding of how our ventilation equipment performs. Workplace Achievements: -Automated the ANSYS Fluent run process for models. This allowed models to be run outside of work hours, saving the company 110k by cutting lead time down by 2.5 months with the reduction in active work hours spent waiting for models to finish running -Wrote the training guide for the CFD Department, improving new hires' understanding of the job and reducing confusion on best design practices. -Lead a team to design a program which reduced equipment budgetary price lead-times from two weeks down to 15 minutes and provided a preliminary design, allowing for immediate customer feedback.

I graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology as an Honors Student with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. During my college career I developed a strong interest in thermal sciences and fluid dynamics, and refined my modeling skills that I had learned during an internship at a structural engineering firm. In addition to my coursework I spent time working as a co-editor for the Honors College's newsletter, leading a group of writers to publish bi-yearly newsletters to inform the student body.
