This Project is a Green field project, it is the "Benghazi International Airport", it is designed for 12 - 15 million passengers a Year. it also has a VVIP terminal and a Gargo Terminal.

Leading a team of 25 Staff from construction, project controls, and planning. Reporting to the Program Director. In my current position I am the Project Director for the completion of 14 Building in area 2 of the KAFD development, also I am the project controls and planning Director for area 2, total buildings are 26. Parsons are the PMCM for Area 2 KAFD

Project Director, International Passenger Terminal Extension, Male, Maldives. Company SBG Leading a team of 60 Staff from Design, construction, project controls, planning and commercial. Reporting to the Contractors Representative / Country Manager.Tthe person I report to is not in country all the time, he is only in Country 20 clendar days a month. When the manager is not in country I stand in for him and take full responsibility for company operations on his behalf

CLAIMS, COMMERCIAL, AND CONTRACTS MANAGER, ISF Camp, company QD-SBG, Qatar. Lead all aspects of commercial, contracts, and claims management for two projects, and reported to project director. Process all classes of commercial claims to achieve prompt resolution and settlement by collaborating with project managers and directors. Manage a team of more than 20 individuals, and effectively deal with commercial aspects of projects by conducting commercial meetings with clients and client representatives. Ensure accurate commercial engagement of subcontractors, and analyse progress reports, forecasts, and related costs, and. Collate contracts documents, and process relevant data for effective contract management. • Headed the production of five interim claims for two major projects with a total worth of QAR 1.050 Billion. • Enabled the company to secure QAR 50 Million on contracts by successfully negotiating with sub-contractors.

Directed global projects and provided appropriate recommendations to the head office senior management and C.O.O. Developed and implemented reporting systems for new projects, and trained head office staff to work with project control systems. Created and distributed monthly reports to executive management on claims statistics and status. Liaised with claims team to identify improvements in internal and external claims procedures. Reviewed schedules and method statements for tenders, and scrutinised baseline schedules for project control. • Proactively involved in multiple projects, including “Marina One” & “South Beach” multiuse developments in Singapore, “Sports Stadium” in Jeddah Saudi and the “New Qatar Museum, in Qatar. • Spearheaded production and implementation of successful claims in Singapore, Saudi, Qatar, and Sri Lanka.

CLAIMS PLANNING MANAGER, Jeddah International Airport, seconded to SBG, Jeddah Saudi. Company Faithful & Gould Functioned as a claims planning manager to handle claims form 600+ subcontractors, and involved in time impact studies (TIS) and extension of time claims associated with time and cost. Developed standard guidelines for the team to review all claims, and set up a standard template for TIS (TIA) reports. Collated contracts documents, and process relevant data for effective contract management. Managed a team of more than 40 individuals, and effectively deal with commercial aspects of projects by conducting commercial meetings with clients and client representatives. Directed claims planning engineers to review sub-contractor claims and negotiate claim agreements. • Led the production of an Extension of Time Claim (E.O.T.) to achieve a Project E.O.T. for an extra 1.5 years with agreed cost of SAR 1.2 Billion. • Ensured commercial engagement of subcontractors, and analyse progress forecasts and related costs. Administered the defence of sub-contractor claims to secure SAR100 million for Saudi Binladin Group (SBG).

PROJECT CONTROLS SUPERVISOR (STATIONS) - RIYADH METRO PROJECT, Riyadh Saudi. Company CCC. Delivered exceptional project control services to construct two out of six new lines for a new metro system in Riyadh KSA. Directed project development from beginning to end, and communicated project expectations with planers and QS team in a timely and clear fashion. Drafted and submitted budget proposals, and recommended subsequent budget changes as necessary. Established standard schedules with planning team for the different types of Stations. Planned and conducted weekly team meetings to produce cost control and planning systems. • Proposed and implemented standard construction production norms throughout the project to produce project specific schedules for the individual stations in the project. • Created standard reporting documentation and system in order to monitor project progress and performance

Headed a project of 7 Star Hotel, encompassing infrastructure and ID works, head office building, and apartments with a total value of the QAR 1.6 Billion. Handled changes in project scope, identified potential crises, and devised contingency plans. Issued status reports to the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas. Played a significant role as an active member of the management board for the hotel project. Produced forensic claims analysis for delay and inefficient working caused by contractors. Attended meetings with clients, and conducted daily meeting with “Lean Construction team”. • Negotiated with sub-contractors to ensure the completion of the project within the revised completion date. • Implemented lean construction technics, which improved the efficiency on project saving time and money
