Thomas Henderson

I have developed communication and teamwork skills while working with chemical and wood manufacturing companies. These have been important during shift handovers to ensure that all colleagues understand the current state of the plant and avoid unnecessary mistakes. I have worked on three different plants running different campaigns from small manually controlled processes to larger scale computer-controlled processes. This has given me the chance to develop technical knowledge of various types of plant equipment and operating procedures. Furthermore, I have a profound understanding of the importance of safety on site and have demonstrated this through my studies and qualification in Health and Safety and Environmental Issues in Process Industries. This qualification covers HASAWA 1974, COSHH, PUWER and Manual Handling.
