Executed the strategic and operational planning and logistics for the transfer of military and governmental tasks from the international community to the government of Afghanistan and other entities. Formed and led a 60 person senior military and civilian task force with NATO representation. Facilitated US and international conferences for Post-2014 transformation of Afghanistan incorporating the Chicago and Tokyo agreements and subsequent international agreements. Successfully obtained commitments from multiple international and national delegations to support Afghanistan task force.

Led the transition team in the merge of headquarters from four major headquarters organizations into Headquarters United Staes Forces Iraq. Oversaw successful and unprecedented merger in a conflict environment resulting in a reduction of 4,000 administrative personnel. In conjunction with the American Embassy Baghdad, led planning for future operations in order to support U.S. objectives in Iraq. Planned and facilitated transfer of responsibilities to the Government of Iraq, Department of State, United Nations, and other U.S. and foreign governmental and non-governmental agencies.

Responsible for developing plans and overseeing operations for U.S. and multinational missions. Facilitated multiple conferences between U.S. and Saudi Arabia government and military leaders resulting in enhanced bilateral security. Planned and directed reorganization of 600 person training mission creating increased personnel effectiveness and fiscal efficiency.

Senior leader of 750 person unit memorial affairs in Arlington Cemetery and for ceremonial events in Washington DC. Formed and led the Department of Defense 1,00 person quick reaction force charged with countering threats to the capital. Successfully provided mission support to multiple national special security events.

Directed the premier center for operationalizing lessons learned which provides leading edge knowledge that supports the Army Warfighter and its partners, enabling them to win in a complex world. Led the efficient and effective operation of a 225 person, $22M worldwide operation with personnel deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Germany, and Kuwait. Created and facilitated a worldwide forum leveraging lessons in order to implement organizational and training innovations resulting in hundreds of lives and billions of dollars saved.
